Data Core Position- Work primarily with architecture, engineering, and multiple vendors to build, support, and maintain the lab data center network. Will be accountable to investigate and resolve network defects and/or service impacting issues as well as integrate new products and services with vendors, developers, SPE, various CTO departments and AT&T Lab customers. Will be required to maintain and upgrade packet core infrastructure, document existing designs and evaluate and strategize for growth and network improvements. Requires detailed, highly technical knowledge of signaling protocols, OSI Model, TCP/IP, Ethernet, LANs, WANs, Switch Security, with Cisco and/or Juniper equipment.
